Dev Ops Engineer

Deploying, configuring, maintaining, and guaranteeing systems and services' performance and availability and various automation and configuration management tools
Applying DevOps best practices
Execute and document deployments and changes to the platform using the company’s systems and procedures, as well as improve and recommend changes to these systems and procedures
Perform capacity planning and budgeting
Building and maintaining tools and solutions to help with deployment and our operations platform, ensuring that all meet our high service standards and reduce errors
Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during production, catching and solving issues
Test our system integrity, implemented designs, application developments and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed

More than four years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role, experience in software development and infrastructure management
Strong experience with AWS and other cloud platforms is a plus
Advanced knowledge of Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration
Infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible and thorough knowledge of software deployment automation tools. Puppet, Chef is a plus
Knowledge in networking concepts and how it works in cloud platforms
Knowledge in Git workflows
Knowledge in leveraging CI/CD tools to automate deployment and testing
Experience in fast-paced DevOps environments
Expertise in software code testing and deployment
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems
Current with industry trends, IT ops and industry best practices, and able to identify the ones we should implement
Solid team player, with excellent people skills and soft skills
